SETUP & CONFIGURATION
---------------------
Copy the "engine.asp" file and the "editor" folder to a location
on your hard drive. Open engine.asp and change the configuration
settings at the top of the file.

Now, on each page that you want to make editable, create a link
to engine.asp that looks like this:

engine.asp?page=FULL_RELATIVE_PATH_OF_EDITABLE_PAGE

For example, if you wanted to make the demo web page
http://fuzzelfish.com/ed_demo/index.shtml editable, this
would be the link you would place on that page:

engine.asp?page=/ed_demo/index.shtml

Now, place these tags around each piece of content that
you want to make editable:

<!--BEGIN EDITABLE-->
(this is where your editable content goes)
<!--END EDITABLE-->

Remember, you can have more than one editable region per page.

CSS SETUP
---------
On your HTML pages, you may use CSS files. If you use a CSS file,
you must use the following format EXACTLY to link the CSS file.
Otherwise, Open Site Editor will not detect it.

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="(path to CSS file)">

Moreover, you MUST have the following these classe defined in
your CSS files: main, title, subtitle.

MAIN: The main text for the site.
TITLE: The biggest title format.
SUBTITLE: A smaller title.

If you do not do include these classes in your CSS file, the
editor may not work properly.

KNOWN ISSUES
------------

CLOSING <P> TAGS:

All <P> tags before an editable region must be closed by </P>
tags. This means that you cannot do this:

<P ID="1">SOME TEXT</P>
<P ID="2">
<!--BEGIN EDITABLE-->
(editable content)
<!--END EDITABLE-->
</P>

You can't do this because, though <P ID="2"> is closed eventually,
it is not closed before the editable region appears.

ASP STATEMENTS:

It is perfectly legal to have ASP statements inside the editable
region. However, things might look sort of ugly. But the editor
will work ;)

SERVER-SIDE INCLUDES:

If you are editing a page with SSI's, the SSI's will NOT be parsed
by the editor. This means that things might look sort of ugly, and
your CSS file may not be found, but you will still be able to edit.
