What is Masking Password Generator?
-----------------------------------
Masking Password Generator is a powerful, yet simple-to-use password
generation program that builds random passwords based on masks
that are defined by the user.

*** Standard Edition Features include:

* Uses simple masking language/syntax to supply a pattern for any
  conceivable password scheme.

* Option to automatically copy generated password to clipboard.

* Ability to clear clipboard if password has been copied there, or can
automatically clear on exit from program.

* Masks are saved to file so that they can be easily reused at any time.

* Run the program in Windows System Tray to provide password generation
  capability to any Windows program.

*** Professional Edition Features include:

* All features of Standard Edition.

* Ability to create lists of passwords based on your masks.

* Additional mask capabilities, including vowels, consonants, and
  random length and position masks.

* User-configured mask character sets.

Masking Syntax
--------------

*** Standard Edition

# Numeric
> Uppercase
< Lowercase
<> Cancel upper or lowercase
A Alpha
N Alphanumeric
? Punctuation
% Special character (all
K Keyboard character (excluding space)
% Special character (all keyboard characters excluding alpha
C Any character (excluding null)
*n Repeat n times

*** Professional Edition

V Vowel
W Consonant
~ Random length

Any other character is copied literally to the output, e.g.

AAA-NN-####	Generated password will begin with 3 alphabetic
characters, followed by a dash, then 2 alphanumeric
characters, followed by another dash, and then
ending with 4 numeric characters, such as:
				heT-I9-5087

Character case of alphabetic characters is controlled by the '>', '<' and '<>'
symbols. Placing a '>' character anywhere in the mask will force all alphabetic
characters following it to be uppercase, until the end of the mask, or until
a '<' or '<>' is encountered, for example:

	>AAA<AAA<>AAA	In this example the first 3 characters will be
uppercase, the next 3 will be lowercase, and the
last 3 will be mixed case, as in the following
			example:
				LCViitOZr

The case symbols have no effect on characters that are not alphabetic.

Please note that all masking symbols, if applicable, are case-sensitive.
For instance, 'A' will be treated as an alpha masking character, while 'a'
will be copied as a literal.

If any of the masking characters need to be used as literals, precede the
symbol with a backslash '\'. If you need to use the backslash as a literal,
use 2 backslashes in a row.

\ABCAAA\\aaaa	Generated password will look something like:
				ABCuEq\aaaa

The 'K' symbol instructs the generator to select a random character from the
set of keys that can be entered directly from the keyboard, NOT in
combination with other keys such as alt- or ctrl-.

The 'C' symbol will allow the generator to select from all lower ascii
characters -- keyboard characters plus a few control characters that look
like gobbledy-gook, depending on your text editor or word processor.
