This newsletter is public property, that means anyone is free to send
articles, news and others for posting! I would appreciate it even. I'm only
putting the pieces together. It's our scene! let's make things happen...

I must say i am a bit dissapointed with this issue! The first week i
didn't talked with people to get things going and i was left without anything
done! Assign replyed to my mail and so he sent this week's MOD of the week!
Dave showed his face up without any request whatsoever (which i am very pleased
at!) on the other hand, adok failed to send back the interview i sent him a
week ago in time for this issue! (must not check email to often!) Both nephoo
and binar we're no where to be seen. Nice to see at least one person keeps on
voting every week UNLIKE CERTAIN PEOPLE WHO ONLY VOTE WHEN I ASKED THEM TO
GET ON THE LIST! (or vice-versa) I don't know... Maybe my e-mail server
was down or something... or maybe people are starting not to care anymore!
Anyways... Andr0meda / Green got in touch and so the demoscener list
got bigger and gap-less! Some other touches by myself we're added!
These reasons adding to a rather lack of articles are the main
reason why the newsletter got smaller. I guess it had to stabilize some day!

I'm still looking for someone to send in the intro of the week text so
if you are interested on doing some constructive reviews, be my guest to send
that text to me.

Other than that, hope you enjoy the reading!

                        Psychic Symphony

I HATE EDITORIALS! I always write things down thinking that's the
last time i am going to read them and then i do some changes and have to
write it all over again! I got the idea of Wired98 walk-through and that
boosted up the newsletter about 20k which made the latest issue to be the
biggest aswell once again! I hate it! What the hell am i supposed to write
down on the editorial now? I am happy but i am not! ARGH! The hell with it...
I leave it like it is. You guys are smart, think about what i should write
instead of this stuff... That's what i should have written!

        Dave:

        News from Spain:

Here you have a couple of some groups in the demoscene in Spain.

This is only a collection and it's incomplete, but however here
you will find the releases of many famous groups in the demoscene
in my country like MCD, Dosis, Centolos....

Note that I haven't included the url of my group (PhyMosys).
This is because we are moving to another sites, so our old url
will disappear. The 'ftp' for downloading the magazines continues
   being the same as before:

   ftp://ftp.gui.uva.es/pub/magazines/Phymosys

Take special attention to MCD page which is filled with a lot of
nice stuff of the demoscene... lot of quality releases and nice
   design in the page.

...and for those who are interested in MUSIC-DISKS and Music releases,
don't forget to visit 'WILD BITS' page. Musicians will like.

As you will notice (if visit the sites) is that demoscene
   is very active in Spain.

Ah!.. and Arancha Sanchez Vicario won Schnyder. ;)
Yeah!, We(Spain) won the federal cup, in tennis.

That's all from Spain. CU!

Oh yeah? Portuguese soccer team beat hungary 3-0 juniors and 3-1 on
seniors! Eat my shorts! ;)

Oh! And a small, little remark: pt.party is called off!
After reading about DejaVu and talking with mindwalker where he stated
and i quote: 'better have nothing than have some shitty party no one wants
to spend gas cash to go there!' I decided to give it up! It was not properly
though through anyways... I just had a probable place where people could stay!
That's hardly an organization. What about food? And support? And prizes?
And having entries for the competitions? Just not worth the trouble i would
get! I hope Codewiz and ^Magico^ are still thinking of organizing a REAL
party on the summer of 1999! :(

------| 5.Interview of the week |----------------------------------------------
      ---------------------------

Oh, well! Once again i left the interview for the last minute! So
i'm on friday afternoon again begging anyone i remotly know for it!
        Hey look! It's wain/jello... =)

<Psychic_S> r u gonna stay for at least 1 week?
<Psychic_S> 1 hour i mean... :P
<wain> hehe
<wain> think so
<Psychic_S> i need an interview
<wain> well, under an hour I guess
<wain> hmm
<wain> damn
<Psychic_S> for demojournal
<wain> ok
<Psychic_S> please? *blink blink*
<Psychic_S> thx a million!
<wain> ok :)
<wain> just ask
<Psychic_S> first up introduce yourself... alien origins... name... age...
<wain> Im currently 21 years old, go to a university, and i'm a graphician
 in Jello
<wain> I had an A500 years ago
<Psychic_S> jello? deserts do demos aswell nowdays?
<Psychic_S> for how long?
<wain> ???
<wain> I have been in Jello for over one year now
<Psychic_S> a joke! ;)
<wain> ok :)
<Psychic_S> what have you been doing lately then?
<wain> Lately I have been doing nothing on the demoscene besides doing some
lame irciing and annoying people :)
<wain> is that good enough answer? :)
<Psychic_S> hehe
<Psychic_S> please go on sir...
<wain> damn :)
<Psychic_S> i recall seeing your name on some jello demos! your not fooling
 anyone!
<wain> I did a picture for Takeover98 this year, thats the only released gfx
 this year
<Psychic_S> what place did that pic get?
<wain> I made the graphics for the Jello demo from Tp7
<wain> the pic got 7th I guess
<wain> and that pic is also in headrush intro from jello, but in a very
 scaled format :)
<Psychic_S> ahah! i knew it!
<wain> next question please :)))
<Psychic_S> what do you study in the university?
<wain> Informatic
<wain> next question please :)))
<wain> hmm
<wain> are you there?
<wain> or is it netsplit time again ? :)
<Psychic_S> yes
<wain> ok :)
<Psychic_S> no no no! i just though you were gonna take a lot of time!
<Psychic_S> whats your favorite yoghurt flavour?
<wain> hmm, melon :)
<Psychic_S> do you believe in santa claus?
<wain> Santa has been on our doorsteps, he is too fat nowadays to get down
 the chimney
<Psychic_S> what is the capital of madagascar?
<wain> Pipoltown
<Psychic_S> ahahah! antananarivo! got you! more seriously now... tell us
about your past... how did it all got started?
<wain> whadda hell, next question plis :)
<wain> It all started when I got an a500 in 89 I think, and yes I played alot
of games then, but in 90-91 I saw something called demos on it and were
 amazed :)
<wain> I joined different groups that I cant remember now, mostly lame groups
 :)
<wain> So I began to get interested in gfx and used dp2 then dp3 then dp4
<wain> And I made some gfx on a500, but none of it was ever used in any
 prods .))))
<wain> so in 94 I sold my a500
<wain> got a pc, and was completely a beginner again :)
<wain> found out about that there was an demoscene on pc too
<wain> and started to do some swapping in 95
<wain> the swapping took most of my time the first years on pc scene
<wain> I found out that there was dp2 on pc in 95
<wain> but unfortunately it was no better version of dp, I was used to dp4 on
 amiga
<Psychic_S> what happened then?
<wain> but I learnt and did some gfx, but nothing was released
<wain> I began to get interest in music too at that time
<wain> but I will never be a good musician have I learnt now .)
<wain> so I made some gfx, and began to use photoshop in 97 and joined jello
 in 97
<Psychic_S> and finaly your stuff is being used?
<Psychic_S> or not really?
<wain> and then I got the amazing grafx2 which is far better than dp2
<wain> Jello used my stuff and I was happy
<wain> :)
<Psychic_S> whee!
<wain> and now Im got lazy again with drawing :)
<Psychic_S> hehe
<wain> I was also in a group called Spin and Nail on pc before joining jello
<wain> next question please .))))
<Psychic_S> what are your favorite demos and why
<wain> Hmm, 303,Stars and Sunflower
<Psychic_S> why?
<wain> because they have an cool feeling :)
<Psychic_S> have you seen more recent demos?
<wain> yepp Plastic was cool
<Psychic_S> plastik! not plastic... plastik! its very different! :P
<Psychic_S> you have any design ideas then? or not really...
<wain> ok, sorry
<wain> :)
<Psychic_S> graphicians tend to have some weird ideas on how the demos should
look like! you are like that?
<wain> yepp
<Psychic_S> you feel like sharing them...
<wain> weird 3d objects combined with lots of weird 2d effects which are
synchronized to the music, every object is synchronized to an specific
 sample :))
<wain> Demos should be weird :)
<wain> there should be no story in demos :)
<Psychic_S> what about a theme
<Psychic_S> like in sunflower...
<Psychic_S> weird! i had that idea too... to use an effect/object moving at
the flow of each different channel!
<wain> well, I dont know if its a theme in sunflower but the linking is good
<wain> hehe :) aint you a graphician too :)
<Psychic_S> no! im a wannabe coder!
<Psychic_S> :(
<Psychic_S> tell us more on the future then... plans for tp98 maybe...
<wain> hehe
<wain> well, I will probably not go to tp8 because of exams etc
<wain> but hope to make a picture for the gfx compo
<wain> time will tell
<Psychic_S> what country are you from again?
<wain> Norway
<Psychic_S> ah!
<wain> I can guess the next question now :)
<Psychic_S> hehehe... you like interviews dont you?
<wain> yepp :)
<Psychic_S> either that or you got nothing else to do right now...
<wain> well, I do something simultanously you know :)
<Psychic_S> time for think fast!
<Psychic_S> first demo
<wain> hehe :)I
<Psychic_S> you?
<wain> first demo?
<Psychic_S> yes... first demo... fast!
<wain> what do you mean?
<wain> what demo? :)

<Psychic_S> damn

        Psychic Symphony

        'Dis' by Mandula
        Code: Rod and Hyp-X
        Music: Carlos/Breeze
        Gfx: Frame/C-Lous
Winner of rage.vs.scenest'98 demoparty in hungary!
Very good jazz music from carlos during the whole demo.
Very nice hi-color effects. Special mention to some new effects like
voxel balls, multi-directional voxel texture tunnel and liquid metal. Not
forgetting some tweaked 3D and 2D metaballs!
Some graphical output by Frame fits in nicely aswell.
Also some mention to some hi-color fractal's which also look lovely!
Finishing is an anagram scroolie at the sound of a funky music!
Indeed deserved first place! Very fresh, happy and original demo.
Go get it now!
PS- Hey look! It's me on the greets! My first greets! :~)
How cute... 'PS AND LABEL' turns into 'BALED PLANS'.
            Baled plans? Heeeeyyyy roooooooooddddd...

------| 7.Intro of the week |--------------------------------------------------
      -----------------------

        'Sin(x)' by Dawn 3
        Code: Brainpower
        Gfx: Ruptuh
        Music: Distance/lackluster^monotonik^orange^TPOLM
3rd place at The Gathering '98, 64k intro competition.
Effects well synced with sound, a very nice feeling this intro gives
out. Effects are mainly distortions and some little 'design' clitches!
Special mention to the fact that this intro is not GUS-only like most
other 64k! And that's the way it should be.
Also, this one is a little tribute to the one and only BrothomStates so
you better go check it out!

"back the fuck up" & "dub one" by deginge / league of kaoz
lok_btfu.zip @ www.loknet.demon.co.uk

since i didn't find any really good fresh tracks this week, i decided
to mention one of my alltime-favourites : deginge's ep for lok featuring
the two .xms "back the fuck up" and "dub one"..
"back the fuck up" is hardstep drum'n'bass, garantued to rock about
every venue: energetic, mashed up beats (-new- and interesting breaks used !),
a hard and distorted bassline, heavy metal attitude.. 'uhoh, 08/15 hardstep'
you may think, but the tune manages to avoid nearly all schemes and
that damn twostep beat, too.. at many parts it even builds up it's very
own swing, underlined by very nice syncopic percussions and shakers.. great !
"dub one", the second tune of the ep, is a bit more experimental..
tribal drumloops, dub bassline and jungle breaks are a very interesting
combination - the 'smoke ganja' and 'legalize it' messages in the module
text don't surprise when listening to the track :) anyway, deginge should
definitely try to get those two tunes on vinyl some day ! at least i'd
keep on playing them :)

        WIRED98 - DON'T MISS THE LAST ONE!

After the ceremonial after-party LONG sleep, i ate and sit down in
front of my computer writing what i recalled! Some things are wrong, i know
that now but i haven't changed my report because it reflects the mood i was in
at the time! :)
After that follows the official results and last but not least the
moral of this whole belgian experience! Enjoy.

                        Psychic Symphony

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

        Wired98 report

Firstly there was a lot of shit that happened before the actual party
so let me start by a small briefing of pre-party stuff:
1st i wanted to go there by plane but it depended on the exams since
i still hadn't finished them all... I flunked AM2 1st call and couldn't get
a reserve to brussels so i was thinking i would go by train if i passed the
2nd call. (3rd call was on wired98's saturday) 2nd call went bad as hell so i
got really angry and decided to release the f"#$&@g demo the sooner i could!
So i sent it to some friends and put it on cdrom.com...
        I passed AM2 at the 2nd call... Oops! :P
Now what? Fortunately i got a last minute ticket to brussels so i
ditch the train plan... I talk to kombat/imortals on irc and we fix to meet
up at the airport and to find our way to hornu/wasmes...
So i'm at Zaventhem airport in belgium waiting for tel-aviv plane to
land... waiting... and waiting... it's around now... this short guy with a
backpack, a bed-roll and some sort of briefcase comes thru the doors...
I go ask him: 'You now anything about computers?'
'Finaly!' he answers back... :P It's kombat!
We go exchange some cash then to the bathroom and finaly we go buy
a train ticket to mons. After some mind-storm i ask this guy at the subway
if that was the train to mons and so we enter the train!
Now we are at Mons. Already seen enough cows to last for a lifetime!
Are we supposed to catch a bus?!? Where? Which one? I thought it was
better to get a cab... We even had a map. Kombat didn't agree but he came
along! :P
Remark: cabs in belgium are expensive as hell... And the cabbie
didn't rip us off. They are just expensive.

After the cabbie asked around a few times we get there and i get out
to ask someone if this is it... Later i now he is Access/<still not sure if
it's pulpe, melting pot or ketchup killers!>
Psychic__: Is this wired98?
Access: Yes... And who are you?
Psychic__: I am Psychic from portugal and that is kombat/immortals! Be
           right back!
cabbie: 600 Bfr
Kombat: Hey man... That cab driver ripped us off!
(...)
darkness: Psy-xic?!?
Psychic__: ARGH! Learn how 2 speak english!
darkness: i'm all fucked up... Need to get some sleep!

We want to eat... Darkness says 'we go eat when we are done...
wait a little!' OK! Let us see my demo in kombat's laptop... ARGH! I have
forgotten setup.exe file at home... Fortunally i brought my HD with me.
Met blade and talked about the spanish/portuguese scene for a bit...
After some time we meet Scorpik/Pulse and KeyG who we're there sooner
also. Access let me copy my file to my disk and so everything is fine.
Except kombat's cpu is very weird and wouldn't run it properly!
Me and kombat go eat with pitbull, PL, darkness, laurent, damien and some
more guys which i can't remember the handles at the local McDonald's.
(I think PL and damien came along... can't remember properly...)
Time to sleep... kombat as usual playing with some ball before going
to bed... Me sleeping at the table. My back hurts... :P

Wake up... Small talk with scorpik and kombat... Party doors open!
We re-enter!
Now kombat is looking for internet connection and i'm looking around
for something to kill the boredom.
Oh goodie... We finally have irc up and running... Kombat starts
talking to his homiez trying to get things going. I just stare at some more
computers! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Can't sleep... We reconnect internet directly from
the net-god's table and kombat starts reworking on his demo while i use the
dead time to irc some friends and to let my mom now i'm alright! (Thanks
brainpower!)
Kombat goes 'backstage' to the organizers room to finish his demo
while i take some more strools around...
First 'old' demo shown on the big-screen was '303'! WOW! BIG!
I can't stop smilling... Just when i was starting to wonder why the
hell did i flown all the way here, the answer comes to me. :)

But let's write about the compo's...
Very nice ansi compo entries. Only one a little small... All other's
we're BIG and awesome!
C64 guys really put up a show at the begining of the party showing
their TP7 winner... 2nd reality on a c64! At the compo they also ruled!
Amiga was almost no where to be seen. One demo and one intro only!
I liked the intro a lot: This fiercly music played while they zoomed in on the
Quake character... Suddenly the music changes into a disco/jamm/happy tune and
the quake guy starts moving his ass...
crowd: *clap clap clap* lol

This video of Fuel guys killing some machines, televisions and VCR's
is playing when they call me on the intercom:
someguy: Someone from Label please come to the main desk. the disk is corrupt!
I guess it was because it was always in my pocket during all that
time! No problem... I go get my HD and copy it to pitbull's computer! Since
kombat is there also i stay there a while! Then the intro's start so i get
back near the big-screen, some nice fractal entry's and a little 4k arkanoid
clone game finishes the 4k compo...
100k game was cool aswell... 1st entry was this micromachines clone.
2nd one was a nice tetris game featuring massive dificulty effects...
distortions, lens, rotations and all those weird effects we're combined all at
once and the crowd went 'WOW!'. No.3 was a 'kill those lemmings'. And No.4
was a nice 5 player game recoded by eclipse.
Can't remember 64k entry's properly but i remember quad won and
calodox got 2nd... Met workbench/calodox at party afterhours!

Kombat finished his demo and we both went check them at the compo
machine so we were near the big-screen when darkness announced the coca-cola
compo! Thirsty and sleepy i went 'ME!ME!ME!ME!ME!' and so i gave it a try. :)
Darkness blown my concentration when he said something about me coming from
such a long way to do so little and so i 'spitted' coke all over the place!
:) Still went on trying but soon to realize it was just too much coke for
such a small stomach!
Blade went for the world-record but couldn't even win this year's
1st place... TSC TSC... :P
With this little performance i drove screamager's attention and
managed to meet him after all! He was hanging around with Mellow-d so i asked
him to go and meet him aswell! Now i know how trackers look like... normal! :P

        Time for demo compo!
I'm sitting 1st row... All nervous wondering if anyone is going to
BOO my demo or not. 1st demo was better then mine only too many gfx and little
of the rest. Nice fellows!
I see LABEL very BIG written all over the place and can't help to smile
What a feeling... When the 4th effect comes some guy recognizes art-of-fighting
character! People even clapped at the end... I felt so good about it all. :)
Since there we're some troubles getting the 3rd demo running i go ask kombat
what he though about my demo!
kombat: what?
psychic__: demo... blue one... what do you think?
kombat: what?
psychic: DEMO! you now... those things on the big screen...
kombat: ah! sorry!
psychic__: so? what did you think?
kombat: what?
psychic__: go to sleep.

He didn't see my demo... I don't blame him... one day and a half
working on his demo. He has the right to fall asleep!
After that deus-ex-machina demo was shown then some text mode demo...
Quite good 3d and nice textmode conversion!
Then to some really decent demos: First up it's fuel's demo i liked
it a lot although some people say it was boring and design-less. I think it
had nice gfx and looked very nice although music and design weren't really
there! It crashed through last part. :P
Quad demo run with some bugs aswell. Then some pyramids (or is that
the same demo?!?) Anyway... One of these got 2nd with boring 3d scenes and
bugs!
After that came the winner demo: Cocoon's 'Shad' It was big! It was
full of nice graphics and nice syncing aswell as a rather slow 3d and a lot
of bugs! But it's still worth the first place. It was really BIG and GFX-full!
Last but not least there was third place 'Stereo Mike' from Immortals
Nice cross-fadings, a good 3d-engine, nice 3d-scenes including a domino
sequence! Ending with this video of the party place... According to kombat
the little thingie falling from the sky is a known windows proggie that i
had never heard of, where these creatures walk around the monitor! That's why
people clapped. I really liked kombat's demo above shad only it lacked some
graphics and the music was just the normal... Stereo Mike name came from
Bran Van 3000 music 'Drinking in LA' has i had predicted... So i started
calling kombat stereo-mike and he started calling me pzich! :)

Fallen asleep through the music compo and checked out some wild demos,
Starwars was cool! With kombat sleeping i started getting connected and so i
filled in the voting-disk and handed it out before starting to copy stuff!
Look! There are all of the pamela anderson video's in here...
(suck! suck!) Literally! lol that was a nice comment i think!
There were more porn and emulators contraband around than demoscene
stuff so i packed up my callus collection and took some manga porn back home
since b.witched (aka iceball) is always asking me for them... (yeah right!)

Between all this i managed to see 'ghost in the shell' which was really
good because i wanted to see it for a long time now and it is really one of
the best anime! Another movie played was '5th element' but since i had already
seen it and was really tired i fell asleep once again!
Some other video played was from this real time 3d rpg which looked
fabulous! I don't recall the name.

        Some other remarks:
Toilet system was very good. There was a place to sleep but i didn't
use it because: 1st.hadn't brought my matress. 2nd.i fell asleep on my chair!
Eaten about 6 burgers, one 'machine-gun' and LOTS of fries...
Machine gun was discovered by scorpik and KeyG at the local town
when me and kombat went with them to eat something... That was about noon!
Didn't eaten nothing else the rest of the day! I was stuffed!

I guess this is probably it... Don't want to bother you even more with
small details like that kombat spent 1/4 of the compo money on a cab to the
airport so he could catch his flight on time (remember the cab's beeing
expensive?) and that i spent 22 hours at the airport waiting for my check-in!

HEY! That's natalie imbruglia! That's why that american girl was so
hardly trying to get a pen... Well. I don't have a pen nor a paper and i'm
too tired to get up. She really looks shorty on real life! There she goes...
Natalie Imbruglia is gone! Damn! No one is going to believe me now. I should
have gone and asked her for an autograph. Shit!
I DID SAW HER! If anyone ever talks to her, do ask if she wasn't in
the brussels airport the 20th july 1998 in the afternoon... You'll see it's
true!
I managed to stay awake all that time and check-in... Managed to stay
awake just another hour and entered the plane! I had a seat next to this
really nice and beautifull belgium girl travelling to portugal to meet some
friend for just a week. If i wasn't so tired i would have given her my email
or telephone number or something... I fell asleep a couple of times on the
plane and the stop at lisbon took forever! The girl was really very nice and
sweet... Talking about girls... There we're quite a few of them at the party
place which was surprising! Back to my flight... We (me and the girl!) arived
at porto around noon and said goodbye when i saw my mother which had come to
pick me up! While i was waiting in the car for my mother which had to go back
and pay for the airport parking place i saw the girl again! She was really a
nice person! :P What the hell am i writing about?!?

Brought back 2 voting disks (one for B.Witched), all 3 party T-shirts
and the wrist bandana as souvenirs! And ofcourse dreams2 CD! :)
When i phoned brainpower to thank him he got really pissed-off at me
for my manners over the phone. I guess i'll stop calling him... He lives 100m
away from me and everytime we talk on the phone something happens that pisses
one of us off! I'll start emailing him only. I don't get it. Forget about it!

Belgium experience is over... 5 days little less then 90.000 escudos
which is around 400 dolars if i'm not mistaken... Was it worth it? I guess so!
I didn't pay for it... My folks did. Still it's a lot of cash and i didn't
even took my computer to the party! :( If i go to another party it will be
either for almost free or i can take my computer with me... Maybe in one year
when i have my driver's license i'll drive from portugal to some french party.
ltp, volcanic, RTS or something like that... Who knows...

Recovering from wired98... See you at wired2097 and don't forget to
check out the last place demo label-sk.zip (skyscape from label) which
actually didn't got last place because it got 12 points. (11th i think or was
it 12th?!? i dunno!) :(

        Wired98 recap

Oh well! What has happened since then until now?
For once i have met more people over irc. Just having that party in
common made a whole different story! I learned a lot more on #demofr and
started being a regular there aswell! Which has been nice. Talking with
TuO/skytech and sh0dan/arf! studios, djamm, made/bomb, [___z___], dr.yes,
skal/bomb, asphyx, dake/calodox, cyg/blabla, aph, kalmindo and the rest has
been a really positive experience! In fact, the idea of this demojournal was
mostly discussed with these guys and then taken over to #pixel (where adok
waited for my reply while i was talking in #demofr) and finally #coders! Also
#trax were i saw assign and asked him to give me a hand!
Hey! This is about wired, not demojournal!
What else? Met legendary people like scorpik, darkness, mellow-d,
screamager and the such! Got a real good friend called ohad pressman (kombat)
Also i got the taste of a demoparty with all good and bad things it brings!
        Some good things:
                -got new contacts
                -saw belgium sights
                -practiced my french
-entered weird conversations no one understood
-saw things on the big screen... REALLY BIG!
-saw amiga and C64 productions for the first time!
-saw how the professionals do their thing! (kombat working!)
        Examples of bad things:
-slept on chairs and benchs for 4 whole days
-ate junk food and drink coke whenever possible
-died of boredom without a computer to play around in a hall
                 full of computers!
-didn't get to kick kombat's ass at quake!
-forgot to take a tooth-brush! (ICK!)
Oh well... You win some, you loose some!
I am still proud of trying to get the last place at a demoparty!
At least i got 12 deserved points! My demo worked all the way! Not
like some others who got points and didn't even got shown on the big screen or
crashed halfways! At least i did my job well! It's not my fault everyone
else has done better! ;)

        Something is wrong!

Me all happy checking out some old MOD's that survived after my
'already have it on dreams2' clean up! Unfortunaly i deleted more than i
should have and now i notice some musics are missing and that i will have
to re-download them! Anyways... I come upon 'synapse' musicdisk by garfield,
which is one of the best portuguese trackers. And i recall something about
him releasing a song in assembly... I go check the results on Hugi#12. Demos,
intros, animations, wildcompos, ahah, music... 15 got selected, i don't see
his name so i start scrooling down, and down, and down, and even more down.
I check his entry but that seizes to be important, i keep scrooling down...
154 entrys? 15 got selected? out of 154? I start scrooling up looking at all
those 0pts... Liam the Lemming, loonie, tonic, tremor, md, strala, so many
people i have heard about didn't got selected! I guess that shows that the
selection didn't go in favor of known persons! Fair enogh but still... 154?
At 4 minutes each track, that makes... 616 minutes! That's over 10
hours of music! Humm... I guess i understand why only 15 got selected! After
20 minutes you get tired of just hearing the music, imagine 10 hours straight
doing nothing more then to listen to music recalling which ones were the best
among 154 tunes... I feel sorry for the selection team! I wouldn't venture!
10 hours! Geez... If we wanted to put the music on audio CD we would
need about 9 CD's! And me thinking music isn't that bountifull! 10 whole
hours released on just one weekend!
I guess it's time to get back to '10 disks worth' download per day!
I just don't know where the hell am i going to put all that stuff, only have
about 75 megs on the main partition. Guess i'll have to drop by the store
to pick up either a zip drive or an extra HD. Oh well!

                        Psychic Symphony
