									About Superiority Complex

Superiority Complex, based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, is a
programming/music/graphics/demo group. Our primary goal in life is to
throw all these things together in the most interesting possible ways.

Our very first demo was Christmas '93. It wasn't quite as good, or
as long, as we had planned, but it's still there, and it was a lot of
work to create. We plan to release a lot more games, demos, and util-
	  ities in the future.

We would really appreciate it if you helped distribute our software
by uploading it to as many BBS's as possible. If you would like to
become a registered SCS support BBS, read/fill in the form at the end
	  of this file!

							  Information about us (the members):

Avery started with computers when he was 3 (seriously!). His dad
got a CoCo 1 and he started learning programming. Soon after, his dad
taught him a simple three line basic program. He says he didn't under-
stand it, but he could write it perfectly every time.
He slowly moved up in the world, from 'cheap-o' BASIC to BASIC09 on
his CoCo 3 running OS-9 level 2. Next he learned 6809 assembly under
   OS-9 and wrote a full-featured paint program in 16k! He got a 386DX/25
soon after he entered high school, and almost IMMEDIATELY downloaded a
shareware C compiler and tutor. Right about then, he and Dave formed
SCS and released MultiMenu 1.0 (Mar. 92). He saved up enough money and
   bought TC++ (a REAL, MODERN C compiler!), learned C++, and happily  :)
   released MultiMenu 2.0 (Mar. 93).
He started programming like crazy from that point and eventually
got to WaveFormer, his 1993 Science Project. It was his first adventure
into digital sound, and it won enough money to afford the upgrade to
BC++ 3.1 (with TASM), which he uses to this very day.

Dave is 16 years old and has lived in Thunder Bay all of his life.
His first computer was a Commodore 64, which he got back in grade 2 or 3
or somewhere back there. Immediately he decided that he like program-
ming. :) Then he met Avery (EnigmaLogic) in grade 4 who had a COCO at
the time... So they kept getting better at programming (mostly competi-
tive fun), and they decide to join forces a few years ago. That was the
creation of SCS, and since then, he's been assigned the job of writing
music, on top of his programming.
Anyhow.... he really loves music. He has for as long as he can
remember. Loves listing to music, loves to play music, and loves to
write music. He also enjoys talking on the phone, watching Star Trek :)
hanging around with friends, golfing, and eating profusely.

Len has been involved with telecommunications for 9 years now. He
started off with a C64 & 300 baud modem. He is very interested in the
programming side of othings, releasing many programs like LenList,
LenLog, LenDiagnostics, LenTenna, and a few other little utitites that
make his life a bit easier like ComFind. He did a few graphics for the
demo at one point and has a pretty good grasp for ANSI art. He enjoys
building various computers and styles as well as special things like
monitors from weird systems and controller cards.
He works at a local computer company part time as a technician.
He will be in Confederation College next year under the Electronics
Engineering - Computer Control program. When he does any programming,
it's usually done in C using Avery's C++ windowing libraries. Amateur
Radio is taking the most time out of his days lately.

Marko was born in Kenya (East Africa) and lived there for about 11
years because his parents were missionaries there. He became interested
in computers in grade nine (1989) and became interested in programming
during his grade eleven Computer Science class where he learned Pascal
on the ICONS. Then he moved to the PC's and bought himself Turbo Pascal
6.0 and still programs to this day (now using Borland Pascal 7.0 and
   Turbo C++ 3.0).
Other than programming he loves to golf (with DNA), cycle, listen
to _loud_ music, hanging around with his friends and girlfriend and
going to school. He is in his fifth year of High School, grade 13 (OAC)
and will be going back next year for more torture.
Before HCl even knew of SCS he met Len Bougie in school and much
later joined SCS after leaving Mail to DNA about an error in the
MODINFO.TXT file included with Superiority MIX.

Jeff was born and raised in Thunder Bay. He has always loved
computers and kinda thinks of them as humans...:) He started off in Gr.
four learning how to work around C64's. When his dad's company bought an
8088 however, he bugged his dad forever to bring it home. He read the
entire DOS 3.1/GWBASIC manual when he was in grade 6. He now has done
every computer class his school has to offer and will be taking an OAC
Co-Op next year. He enjoys programming very much. And, he has also been
dating Kari Price for one whole year as of July 5th, 1994...
Jeff has been involved with music for quite some time now. He has
his grade 9 piano and other stuff. He also plays trumpet for school.
He loves to write, sing and do all that other stuff too.
Jeff heard about SCS along time ago & has known of Dave and Avery
because of the annual Computer Contest that they all compete in. Because
Dave and Avery have always come in first and Jeff behind them (which he
does not like!) he sooon decided to tell Dave off... resulting in this!

								 BECOMING AN SCS SUPPORT BBS

If you are a SysOp of a BBS and would like to become a distrubutor
of our software, there are a few things you should be aware of:

		 - Your BBS must have EVERY file that SCS has made/will make available
			to the public.
		 - You will be expected to call Dinder World (SCS WHQ) at least once
a month to update your files and information from us.
		 - Your BBS must be a forum for users to ask question about our demos
			and software and get answers.
		 - Your BBS must be running at least 14.4 baud and 18+ hours a day.

If you do become a Support BBS we can't guarantee you anything much,
except that you'll get our files faster than anyone else, and know a lot
more about us than any old Joe.
