SBTimbre is a Timbre editor -- it facilitates creating and modifying
instrument sounds for FM Sound Cards such as Sound Blaster, Adlib, and 
Media Vision.  Sounds can be auditioned via a Sound Blaster or MPU401 
compatible interface and a MIDI controller (a piano keyboard for instance), 
or by pressing buttons on-screen using a mouse or computer keyboard.  

SBTimbre features include:

SBTimbre is Shareware: "try before you buy" software.  Vendors may
distribute SBTimbre provided that no more than a reasonable fee is 
charged for distribution and all the supporting files are included 
(with the exception of this file).  It may be included on a disk 
containing other software.

Registration:

Users get a 30 day trial period.  Upon registration, Users receive
a registration code.  When the code is applied to the program, the
about screen delay is removed, and files may be saved under any 
file name.  If a disk is required, an additional $10 is needed to 
cover postage and handling fees. Users may also register via the 
CompuServe Shareware Registration forum: GO SWREG (Product #2012).
