1) INSTALLATION
 Files:
       pict.vbx
       bivbx11.dll
copy to SYSTEM directory, of your Windows directory.
 This is usually c:\windows\system.
GP2EdWin can be installed in any directory.
Once you have installed it, run gp2edwin.exe.

2) DEFAULT FILES
 Files:
      org.edw
      gp2.pal
are a part of GP2EdWin, so DON'T MODIFY THEM!

3) FEW WORDS ABOUT SOME FEATURES
 - driver numbers
A Driver's 'number' in GP2 is also used as an ID for getting specific
  set of data.
So, if you want to have driver ID=1 with number '0' or '1', you need to
look at 'Misc. settings #1' page.

 - Enable/Disable Team
As you know, the game has originaly 14 teams,
You can choose to have a greater or lower number of teams. Each team must
have 2 drivers. IF YOU SWITCH TEAM FROM DISABLE TO ENABLE STATE,
FIRST MAKE SURE THAT THOSE DRIVERS HAVE UNIQUE NUMBERS!!!

 - Probability of car failure
0 means that this car is 100% perfect- It will not suffer a mechnical
  or other retirement.
Maximum value is 65535, and it is highest probability of car failure.
You must still select the retirement options in the game for thess
options to affect the player car.

 - Grip
If driver's grip value is set higher than 17016, the background is red.
Because automatic calculations of grid won't be correct with this and
higher value of driver's grip. Everything will be OK, if you are using
'Accelereted time' to finish the all qualification sessions.

 - Random power:
GP2 slightly randomises the avaliable HP of the Computer Cars (CC) or
Players car. You can set off this option, if you want always the same
value for player's or computer's engine.

 - Cockpit color editor
Colors and details are as close as possible to the real palletes used
in GP2, but are not exact.

4) PLAYER'S CAR AND COMPUTER'S CARS
 - CC settings do also change the performance of player's car.
Only the 'car failure' value and the pit box location is copied to
player's car performance data, and it is equal to value of team what
  you choose.
'Car weight' is for both, player's car and computer's cars.

5) PATCHING THE GAME
 - this version only changes values stored in gp2.exe file. So, to see
changes, delete file f1gstate.sav, before running the game with changed
   values.
This version won't load settings files from version 1.0. I promise, that
next versions will be able to load older settings files. :)

6) REMEMBER GP2CCPE?
 - It was my first program which modified some of the same data as this
program. But gp2ccpe has some errors, so please delete your copy of gp2ccpe
and use this editor. I hope, this one will work better!

7) THE PEOPLE
'Pit line limit' was found and described by Martin Granberg. He also has own
 program to change this: gp2misc.
Martin, and many people from Internet help me with supporting different GP2
language versions. Also about 100 people send me bugs reports after using
 gp2ccpe.
                    Thanx!!!

Special thanx to Dave Gymer who is manager of 'gp2-hackers' mailling list.
You can read more info about it at Dave's WWW page:
                     http://www.mal.com/~dgymer/gp2/

Thanx to Paul Rushworth for help in writing some parts of this manual.
