NEWSEDIT.PPE ReadMe File

OK, don't expect great docs, This is being whipped up in about
an hour.

This PPE must reside in the same directory as your NEWSFLSH.PPE and .CFG
files. You can install it as a Function Key replacement, in a CMD.LST,
or run it from the command line via the /PPE: switch for PCBoard.

The PPE can take one optional parameter, the name of the newsfile to
edit (no extensions, or paths). It will default to the file specified
in the NEWSFLSH.CFG file.

The program will let you enter a news entry line by line, and place the entry
with today's date at the top of the news file in the proper format.
It will prompt you for the subject of the entry before prompting for the
text.

You can't go back to a previous line, but you have the option to abort the
entry once you are done, in case you make an error.

Another note, each line is limited to 77 characters in the editor, INCLUDING
@X codes, and will word-wrap to the next line. If you want longer lines which
contain multiple @X color codes or macros, use another editor. Any plain-ascii
editor will work as long as you use the correct format for each entry:
~~DD/MM/YYSubject Text (30 char max)
Entry Text - as many lines as you want
~~DD/MM/YYSubject Text (30 char max)
Entry Text

This PPE is freeware, no registration key is needed since it is only useful
to the NEWSFLSH.PPE. This doesn't mean I give up any rights to it. It IS
copyrighted, and may not be used with any other program or PPE without prior,
written permission of the author - Herbert L. Bushong
