                        WarpAmp 2a (c) SDG 1997
                        ------------------------

This is the sixth public beta (1b was not publicly released) of WarpAMP
(AMP for OS/2). WarpAMP is a MP3 player based on Tomislav Uzelacs AMP
project and is still in beta so use it with care. WarpAMP is ported by
SDG, if you want to know more about us, read the SDG.TXT file that
accompanies this package.

What's new in 2a: - Memory leaks fixed.
                   - New volume bar.
                   - See history.txt for information on old versions.

Requirements: Fast CPU, lots of RAM and patience and, of course OS/2
                with DART support installed.

Usage: You can start WarpAMP either from the command line or from
an icon. You can also Drag N Drop a MP3 file onto WarpAMP.
WarpAMP has a volume bar on the left that you can click on
to set the volume, you can also right click WarpAMP to get
a small option list. There is a row of common audio control
buttons on the bottom to control WarpAMP and some buttons
to load a single file or to start/control a playlist. You
can right click on the playlist window to get the playlist
                options.

Things to come: - MMPM support (for those without DART or buggy DART)
                - Fast forward and rewind support
                - Dynamic Priority adjutment (to use more CPU only
                    when needed)
                - Notebook setting controls of options
                - More options (which were taken out of PM version)
                - Shuffling of songs in the playlist
                - Correct timing of songs. For now its just a best guess.
                - Other things that we arent telling yet. <grin>
