===============================================================================
1. What's The McHumor Mailing List?

The McHumor Mailing List is a service provided by Matthew C. Davis, a
student at Lenoir-Rhyne College. The List's purpose is to send you a few
funny messages each week that he finds on the Internet. Since they come
from everywhere and are hand selected, they are virtually guaranteed to be
   some of the funniest around!

The List also provides to its members the ability to submit their own
choices for distribution to all members.

2. How does one become a member of The List?

To become a member, one does not have to pay any usage fees or indenture
any relatives. Rather, all that is required is a simple subscribe message.

To subscribe (become a member), send a message to prs@twave.net with a
subject of "subscribe" (no quotes). That's it! You'll receive a message
later that informs you of your subscription to the list.

3. How does one stop receiving messages from The List?

To unsubscribe (cease being a member) from the McHumor Mailing List, all
that is required is that you send a message to prs@twave.net with a
subject of "unsubscribe" (no quotes). You will promptly be removed from
the list and will lapse once again into the boring, mundane world.

4. How does one submit funny stuff to the list so that everyone may laugh?

All that is required here is a message to prs@twave.net with the subject
of "submit". (no quotes) Put whatever you want submitted into the body.
Please note that our software will make no changes to the body of your
message and it will go out to everyone exactly as you sent it! Because
of this, make sure you have stripped all headers and whatnot off of
the message to save bandwidth. You will be credited in the footer
   for the message.

If you are unable to remove headers from a funny message, just send it
to prs@twave.net with the subject "Please submit this." Matt will
clean it up and post it to the list.

When you make a submission, please give credit to the source.

5. How does one request a copy of the FAQ?

To receive a copy of the most recent "Frequently Asked Questions," just
send a message to prs@twave.net with the subject "FAQ" (no quotes).
You should receive a copy of the FAQ promptly.

6. What if I need more help?

Just send a message to prs@twave.net with the subject "help!" Matt will
answer your question and help you out as best he can.

7. Is The McHumor Mailing List run by a robot?

Yes! The List is run by a piece of software written by Matt called
McList. The current version is 1.30. McList is tailored to work
   specifically with 32bit OS/2.

Matt, unfortunately, is not a robot. Sometimes he actually has to eat,
sleep, and go to class, so please be kind and helpful to him. :)

Thanks for your attention and enjoy the list!
