CID Support for the MGA Millennium

What is required for CID installation:

The commercial versions of screen01.sys and dspinstl.exe (i.e. the versions
included on the IBM OS/2 installation disks) are not able to detect the
MGA Millennium graphics adapter.

In order to perform CID installation, you must first copy the following files
from the Millennium OS/2 CID Support Disk to the target computer (backup
your old versions of these files first):

     File: Destination directory:
     --------------------- --------------------------------
     SCREEN01.SYS %TARGET_DRIVE%:\OS2
     DSPINSTL.EXE %TARGET_DRIVE%:\OS2\INSTALL

You must reboot the target computer for the new SCREEN01.SYS to take effect.

You will also need the MGA Millennium OS/2 Drivers disk (v1.11 or higher)
that you wish to install on the remote system. To speed up installation,
you should copy the contents of this disk to a hard drive. For example
copy the driver disk to X:\DSKIMAGE.

Since the latest Millennium driver disk does not include support for CID
installation, you must replace some files from the driver disk with these
files from the CID support disk:

     File: Destination directory:
     --------------------- --------------------------------
     MGAX64.DSC X:\DSKIMAGE
     MGAX64.DSP X:\DSKIMAGE

You are now ready to perform CID installaion.

As an example, let's say the target drive for CID installation is D:, and
the Millennium drivers are located in C:\DSKIMAGE, then type

     DSPINSTL /PD:C:\DSKIMAGE\MGAX64.DSC /S:C:\DSKIMAGE /T:D: /U

Notes 1.The /RES switch to select the resolution after rebooting is currently
        not supported.

2.This CID support disk was made to work with the Millennium OS/2
        Drivers (v1.11 or higher)
