2. Menus

Menus of this game are easy to use if you know how to use windows.
This is because they operate on same principles. Next we'll take a
look at all the menus in game.

2.1 Options

2.11 Details

The use of this menu is quite obvious, if you switch shadows and
music off the game is likely to run more smoothly in slow machines.

2.12 Setup joysticks

You can use joysticks which are configured to Windows and are
currently connected. You add a joystick by selecting it from the
available joysticks and press "add". If you wish to remove a joystick
from game use, you select it from joysticks in use and press "remove".
This won't remove it from Windows.

2.13 Controls of player 1-4

This is where you set the keys of players. After you have set a players
keys you must press "save" and after that "back" to get to options-menu.
Setting a key is simple - just double click on a control you wish to
change. After this game asks the press a key or move joystick. Setting
a key from keyboard is simple, you just press it. When using joystick
controls the procedure is more complex. If you want to use a joystick
button you just press it. However, if you want to use joystick axis
then you must turn the joystick to that direction you wish to use in
selected control. For example, if you want to make your tank go forward
when turning joystick up then you turn your joystick up. NOTICE!!! The
joystick driver supports only basic controls and buttons of your
joystick (up to 8 buttons).

3. Play menu

As the name says here you start playing, there are two type of
games Capture the flag and deathmatch. All the playfields in game
work with both of these, but they can be designed specificly to one
of these. If you want to get to main menu just be press "back" which
is in upper-left corner.

3.1 Rules

These settings affect differently on deathmatch and capture the flag.
Both of these game types can be played with time- or fraglimit. If you
set timelimit then the game ends when the time has passed and the winner
is the team which has either more kills or flags. In fraglimit-based
game it ends when one of the teams has enough kills or flags.
Fraglimit in deathmatch means kills and in capture the flag it means
the number of flags you must capture. Making a kill is simple - just
blow your enemys tank to pieces. Capturing a flag is also quite simple-
drive you tank on to enemys flag and after that bring it back to your
own flag. When you have setup the rules you want to play with press
"save" and after that "back".

3.2 Players setup

Here you can change names for players and choose their team.
NOTICE!!! If you but all the players on same team the game will end
rather quickly or not at all. When you have selected team and name for
player X you must press "save". By using the arrow keys in the upper-
right corner you can choose next player. Once have setup all players
just press "back".

3.3 Playfields

This is where you choose the playfield you wish to play next. In this
version of the game it is not possible to play several fields in a row.
Press "ok" when you have selected the playfield you wish to play or
"back" to cancel your selection.

4. Playing

The rules cover most of the playing but there is a one tricky part:
shooting. THE LONGER TIME YOU PRESS FIRE THE LONGER WILL THE
CANNON BALL FLY. When you release fire button power cannon will start
diminish. To exit game press ESC.

5. Other stuff

5.1 Bugs and recommendations

With USB keyboards there are some problems with playing, so try to
use "normal" keyboard.

ELSA products which use the stereo glasses will cut down the games
performance a lot. Switch of the stereo driver before playing.

Do not select too "large" resolution, it may be possible that your
3D-card won't support Z-Buffer in large resolutions.

Transparency effects are used in this game so without support from
your 3D-card to them results will be kind of grappy.

Doesn't work with all resolutions, specially with 32-bit modes
are not working.

6. Contact information
