 1. All the Intro files now display perfectly on the remote side even at
    2400 baud!!

 2. Lock up when out of time - fixed.

 3. Added file sharing to data files and display files.

 4. Fixed "DisplayText" so that it's not so slow, now it displays faster
    than the menus!!!

 5. Fixed "Get Max Loan"...  It wasn't giving the money out at all, it
    would just exit.

 6. Fixed problem with trailing spaces in config file when checking for
    registration number.

 7. Editor now works like it should instead of reporting all the players as
    dead.

 8. Maintenance and Editor now re-number the messages properly.

 9. Added a True/False paramater to the DisplayAnsi and DisplayAscii
    procedures so that a file of anysize can be displayed without the SlamKey.

10. Added TextBuffers working off the Heap to speed up the reading of
    display files.

11. Added the "/NOEMS" switch. This must be the first switch in the command
    line and MUST be in all caps.

12. Added one more level of play - now has Adult,Pg and G... The paramater
    "/PG18" will only disable the Underground and not the booze/drugs.

13. Game now reverts to registered version ONLY if being played locally.

14. Added the space bar key to some of the menus and attack menus.

15. Added <G>ive Armor Away, and G<i>ve Shield Away, in registered only
    version. Players can now Give away their armor and shield to another
    player.

16. Added <G>ive away Weapon, in the registered only version. Players can
    now give away their weapon to another player.

17. Added <W>hat is a Red Neck, to the Main Menu.

18. Added <R>ed Neck Questionnaire, to the main menu.

19. Added <K>iller Scores, and <C>urrent Rulers, and the availability to view
    them with current game info.

20. Added Sh<i>eld Swap, to the Sewerlid Menu.

21. Added the player option of leaving the attacked and dead player, a note
    or message.

22. Added the player-NPC attack option of attacking Street People in
    different section of town. Also added an attack level attitude for
    increased action.

23. Added a B<u>nny Club, in the, <C>heck out the UnderGround, for the female
    players. Of course this was at their request. <G>

24. Added <T>ransfer to Another Bank Account, from the <B>ank, menu. A Player
    can now give another player cash.

25. Added <G>ive away healings, in the <D>octors office menu. Players can
    now give other players healings.

26. Added <S>tats for NPC, to the <S>laughter Street People procedure.

27. When a player is slaughtered by another player the note to another
    player and the News will report the Cash that was lost by the dead player.

28. Players can now try to "Jew" their weapon, armor or shield when selling
    them. This will bring just about a different value each time.

29. Added a split screen chat for Sysop-Caller chats.

30. Added multi-node chat.

31. Added our famous "cool prompt" to the "slam a key" prompt.

32. The Lottery will now show the winning numbers in Light-Magenta
    and the losing numbers in Dark Gray.

33. Added the CONVNEWS.EXE to convert the news file into .ANS/ASC
    files.

34. Shortened the attack prompts so that they are not so tall and
    don't take up a complete screen.

35. Added the BRAWL option to the NPC attack screen to save a bit on
    your fingers and keyboards.

36. Added interest to the Loan Dept.. Now all loans will be charged
    interest! This was a requested addition.

37. Added a "Yard Sale" and a "Lost Brief Case" to the REGISTERED
    versions ONLY.

38. Caller must now enter Y&R in ANSI, RIP or AVATAR modes. ASCII not
    supported anymore.

39. Fixed the "Start a Fight" so that now it doesn't take all your
    money from your pocket _and_ your bank account. This was requested.

40. Almost all of the ANS, and soon to be RIP screens are now in one
    file called SCREENS.BBS. They can not be edited either. Sorry....

41. The cost of playing the lottery will no longer be constant and
    will increase each level.

42. Added a "Thug of the Day" award, which will award the highest
    experienced player on his/her first logon in the game per day.

43. Added a pause to the "Yankee Express" so that it will pause.

44. Added the ability to "Post a Note" to everyone in the game.

45. Fixed the Main Menu Scores option so that it updates when the
    option is selected.

46. Fixed the Main Menu Kills option so that it updates when the
    option is selected.

47. Added the "Sneak Attack" in the NPC Attack menu. Toughened the
    game up a bit!

48. Added the ENTER and SPACE BAR keys to the attack menus.

49. Added "time left" to the callers's prompt. Only works when calling
    remotely. It will also BLINK when the caller has 5 or less minutes. When
    time expires the caller will be booted out of the game.

50. Added the "Game Stats" when a player calls for the first in the game.

51. Changed the new player logon so that the door will read the callers alias 
    from the drop file instead of their name. This is only for the alias 
    supported drop files.

52. Finally fixed that horrible lockup bug. My aplogies to all on that one!
    This should also clear up alot of other minor problems that were 
    occurring.

53. Added a double or nothing and triple or nothing to the Lottery. ONLY if 
    the player hits 4 or 5 correct AND the game is registered then, he/she 
    will be prompted if they care to try and double it or triple the cash 
    payout. If they lose they forfit only the money that they won. If they
    win their cash is either doubled or tripled.
    
54. Added the "missing" /IRQ switch that I inadvertently left off of the game.
    There is a possibility that this switch doesn't work. Since I have no way
    of testing it throughly, please let me know via netmail or message if it 
    doesn't.
    
55. Added "Character HELP" to the character selection menu. Now new players
    have a chance to view their character values before selection.
    
56. Corrected the Sewerlid. When the swap a Weapon, Armor and Shield was 
    selected the strengths weren't being changed. Now they are.

57. Fixed the error in the NPC attack area where the NPC's armor and shield
    would absorb more than 100%. This won't happen anymore!     
    
58. Fixed the Lottery so that it works correctly. Players that select a 
    winning character can no longer win with that character unless it was
    actually a winning character more than once. This may have gone by 
    un-noticed and was never reported to me. I happened to find it myself.
    
59. Added the "Compile Date" to the door logon screen and to the "HELP" 
    screen. The help screen can be accessed by typing "YANKRED" without any 
    parameters.

60. Added a "Last Play Date" to the SCORES.ANS/ASC files. Players will now be
    able to see when the last date another player was in the door.
    
61. Fixed the SCORES.ANS/ASC that is made by MAINT.EXE so that they match 
    the ones made in the game.
    
62. Added "random" to the MAINT.EXE when it searches for DEAD players to 
    revive. Now there are 1:3 odds of a players being revived. In other words 
    the values of all players are reset with the exception of the DEAD flag 
    which is now random. If the player logs back on after MAINT.EXE is ran 
    then the DEAD flag is set to false. Give me your feedback on this and if 
    you don't like it, I can always set it another way. To see how it works 
    take a look at your MAINT.LOG and you see the ones that are "playing 
    dead".
    
63. Fixed the scrolling of the TNEWS and YNEWS in the game. Looks much better!

64. Added the number of days the current game has been running to two places 
    in the game. One is at the logon screen and the other is at the NEW 
    PLAYER stats screen.

65. Fixed the "Hall of Fame" screen. Now it shows up from the main menu when 
    the command is selected.

66. Fixed the "Attack a Camper" so that it now works properly. Also added 
    "Last Play Date" to the "List Other Campers" option.
    
67. Added the player Level and Experience to the entended "Who's On" 
    command("+"). Good player info for multi-node BBS's.

68. Added the number of days to current employment in the "your stats" 
    screen. This will appear as: Current Employment-----> Carpenter[x]
    Where x is the number of remaining days until a player begins to start 
    getting paid.
    
69. Added the "Cash On Hand" and "Cash In Bank" in the "Pop a Pill" menu.

70. Added the Level and Experience to the extended "Who's On" screen. This is 
    the global '+' command and is available at almost every prompt.

71. Added the "Last Play Date" to the "List Other Players" command.

72. Fixed the screen display in the "Get a Job" when selecting any of the 
    three global commands.
    
73. Corrected the "Post A Note" stack overflow bug.

74. Corrected the Investment Bug. Thanks to Dave Kober, one of the best beta 
    testers that I have, he was able to detect and direct me to this one. 
    This may have gone by un-noticed by most sysops.

75. Fixed the NPC attack so that it will now not "dodge" a player or NPC so 
    often back-to-back.
    
76. Added the Number of NPC's revived to MAINT.EXE. Screen wil now tell you
    how many if any NPC's were killed that day. Will also log it in the 
    MAINT.LOG.
    
77. Added the "No activity" to the MAINT.EXE. Now if there is no activity in
    the Y&R door for a day the MAINT.LOG will say so. So will the screen when
    MAINT.EXE is running.
    
78. Fixed MAINT.EXE so that when there is no activity in the door for a day
    Yesterdays News will be created stating so.

79. Registration code bug discovered and corrected 1-1-96 by Timothy Hileman.
    Another of our "valued" beta testers! All Registration codes for version
    1.07 and above must be changed. See REGISTER.FRM for further info on how
    to get a new reg code.

80. Fixed the runtime error in Blow-up weapon shop and Armor Shops.

81. Made a new YankRedED. This was formally called NEWEDIT.EXE. Now its 
    called EDITOR.EXE. Much nicer looking editor. Added some options to it as 
    well.

82. Fixed the "Attack Another Player". It was giving out false info.. Tis is 
    now fixed and should report the correct information.
    
83. Removed the Screen Detect problemed portion of the code. Comit comm 
    program users were having a heck of a time getting in the door.

84. Fixed the runtime error with the "Current Ruler" option.

85. Fixed the problem with the "Lottery" giving to many plays and also fixed 
    the "Your Stats" screen to reflect the changes.
    
86. Added a creating Kills bulletin maker to MAINT.EXE so that it will now 
    make the total kills bulletin when run each evening.

96. Added the "Send Mesages" option to the EDITOR.EXE. Now the sysop has the 
    ability to send messages to players in the game. Including sending a

    This option will only delete one investment. Nice option for those 
    players with investments out the rear-end.
