Matrox m3D Pod patch
December 5th, 1997

Copy the contents of pod_m3D.zip into the directory where Pod is installed and double-click
on UsePatch.exe to install the patch. Then double-click on m3Dini.exe to apply the necessary changes to your m3D ini file (see details below). There will be a new Pod executable, podpvrx.exe, that should be used to run the game. Please, note that any previous shortcuts for Pod will no longer work and new ones should be made to point to this exe.

If you had previously installed the Pod Direct3D patch, please uninstall Pod and start with a fresh install of the game.

All problems should be reported back to Ubi Soft and Matrox tech support.

For advanced user:

m3dini.exe is used to make modifications to the m3D's sglhw.ini file. This ini file controls various settings for m3D (PowerVR) native games. It adds the following two lines to the [default] section:

SW_XRegionSize=32
SW_YRegionSize=32

If you experience problems with other m3D (PowerVR) native games, simply comment-out these lines by using a semi-colon ;
You can delete the m3Dini.exe file after used the first time.
