This map, worldpac.mp, is alternate version of the world.mp map that comes with the game.
I decided to do a new version when I noticed that WWII scenarios can't portray the Pacific
War very realisticly because the Pacific Ocean is to narrow - the Atlantic is actually wider!

Most continents are exactly the same; the Pacific ocean is much wider now, and Alaska and
northeastern Siberia were stretched towards each other to make it look more normal. I got
the "extra" room partly because the original map didn't use all it's availale space, but
also by taking a few rows off the north edge of the map - the northern continents are now
closer to the edge, but it's still possible to travel the full length of the top edge of
the map by boat; it shouldn't effect anything.

Also, I added a number of islands throughout the Pacific and other oceans.

One important modification: the Suez Canal in Egypt and the Panama Canal in Central America
no longer exist; I put a land square to block off those sea routes. This makes ancient era
scenarios more realistic, by forcing ships to go around Africa and South America. You can
create these canals during a game by first changing your rules.txt file: find the terrain
section, and patch the following lines into it; REPLACE the entire plains line with the plains
line below, and the entire ocean line with the ocean line below.

Plains, 1,2, 1,1,0, yes, 1, 5, 1, For, 0,10, 0, Oce, ; Pln
Ocean, 1,2, 1,0,2, no, 0, 0, 0, no, 0, 0, 0, Drt, ; Oce

Now, your engineers can dig canals and build land bridges.

I hope that this map will allow for more realistic "full world" scenarios.
