                       COMMAND & CONQUER MAP PACK II

                                -----+-----

Welcome back to the second edition of THE Command & Conquer Map Pack. It
has been a pleasure to hear from so many happy and satisfied C&C fans about
how much fun they've had playing missions from Map Pack number 1, as well as
all the support I've been given. As a matter of fact, I've heard from many
people who have complained and have embraced my pack OVER OTHER PACKS because
of my format!

For those who haven't had the chance to try some of the others yet, it's
real simple to see where they went wrong. Make them "Plug-In" as modules,
not force you to download every version because a second version may include
updates to the levels in the first pack! Isn't that silly how that works?
Just follow the simple directions below and you'll be on your way to having
mondo C&C fun!

Oh, and for those who this is their FIRST copy of the C&C Map Pack, here's
a little explanation of how the C&C Map Pack came about.

PROLOGUE
========

I don't know about you, but I love Command & Conquer. Especially
multiplayer games. But the packaged missions start getting boring after a
while, so my search for extended gameplay led me to a favorite site on the
World Wide Web called the Temple of the Conquerer (address below) initially
contained about four new multiplayer levels. Needless to say,
C&C fever was on and only weeks later it tripled to over a dozen!

Using all the available utilities at the time to shuffle the missions in
and out of GENERAL.MIX got out of hand, so I took it upon myself to collect
all these missions and put them into a new "Map Pack" so that everyone can
have uniform setups for later upgrades to add additional map packs.

*** NEWS AND FEATURES ***
=========================

In addition to being the absolute EASIEST pack to use, we have added value
by adding the "MP+" to all map names in the C&C Map Pack!! This means that
it's an OFFICIAL "Map Pack Approved" level and you can be SURE that your
scenerio won't collide with someone using an older map pack! This exciting
new feature makes it a near "No-Brainer" to always get games going without
having to ask "Do you have x's map pack?" You know everytime if they're
playing with the same deck of cards as you!

As a sidenote, I have already started planning a major revamp (again!) to my
Command & Conquer homepage to cover new releases and to implement more
advanced Tables for a "newspaper" appearance. Keep checking the official
C&C Map Pack homepage for details!

INSTALLATION
============

Here's the great thing about it all, installation is a piece of cake.

1. Copy C&C-MP2.ZIP to your game directory (C:\C&C)
2. Unzip the archive (PKUNZIP C&C-MP2)
3.  Your in business!

THE CONTENTS & CREDITS
======================

These missions were NOT created by myself. They are the work of many die-
hard Command & Conquer disciples! All included missions include their
corresponding theme .TXT file tucked away nicely in MP2INFO.ZIP. Also
brief credit is given here.
