Hey, you've got your hands on Makeamap, the Global Conquest Map Editor!

For any of this to be useful to you, you gotta have two things:
1)Global Conquest from Microplay Software, and 2)A mouse or track ball.
If you don't have both of these, you oughta run right out and get 'em!

Here's what ya got:

MAKEAMAP.EXE: This is why you got this file. Put it in the same
directory that Global Conquest is in.

BRUSHES.PIC: This one's a graphics file that MAKEAMAP needs. Put it
in the same directory as Global Conquest.

MAPOPEN.PIC: Another graphics file. Do the same thing with this one
               that you did with BRUSHES.PIC.

README.TXT: That's this file. (As if you didn't know...)

MAKEAMAP.TXT: That's the manual. Put it in your word processor and
check it out before doing anything rash. If you're
really brazen, you'll print it out on paper.

REGISTER.TXT: That's a registration letter for this software. Saves you the
trouble of having to think up something to say. Put it
               in your word processor too.

This package was really slammed around on %100 IBM PC compatible
computers. I'm pretty sure that it will run on your's too. But I
can't have any way of knowing just how your system is configured,
so I can't be responsible for any incompatibilities, fair enough?

But if you have problems, get in touch with me and I'll do all
that I can do to get you going. You can reach me on Compuserve,
Prodigy, or the Ozark Softscape BBS. My addresses:

Compuserve: 71231,1145 Prodigy: CCTW41A Ozark Softscape BBS: Ozburn

And because this is shareware, I get to tell you my story. I
worked long and hard in the Arkansas heat to produce this. Guess
how much I got paid. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Goose egg. You get
the idea. So if you have fun with Makeamap, or you think it's
useful, print out the REGISTER.TXT file, fill it out, stuff it and
10 bucks into an envelope, and send it to:

                                 Ozware
                             P.O. Box 7695
                       Little Rock, AR 72217-7695

For your trouble, you'll get 1)A registered copy of MAKEAMAP,
2)The latest version of the Global Conquest Icon Editor (which
lets you change the game icons), and 3)My undying gratitude.
