Instructions for using the Midtown Madness All Cars and Tracks cheat:

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY OR ANY CURRENT SAVEGAME WILL BE OVERWRITTEN!

* If you do not wish to have your current players/game saved for later use, simply unzip these files directly into your \MidtownMadness\players directory and overwrite all files.

1. Unzip files into a temp dir.
2. Goto your Midtown Madness\players directory.
3. Make a directory called backup and copy all files in your players dir to the backup dir.
4. Copy the files from this archive to your players dir and overwrite all files.
5. Start the game.
6. You will notice that only the "pdm" driver is now visible. Also, your settings have been reset (Video/Controls/Audio). You should reconfigure your settings first. **
7. Goto Single Player race. Create a new driver with the name of your previous saved game.
8. Exit the game.
9. Look back into your MM\players dir. The player2.* files are the "pdm" savegame files. The others are any other players you have just created (starting with player0.*). Copy the files from your backup dir (player0.sav,player0.cfg - NOT players.dir) to the players dir. This will overwrite the newly created savegames with your previous ones. You can do this for any amount of players you had saved as long as you skip player2.*.

** To retain your settings from before, after putting the player2.cfg from this archive in your dir, simply copy your old player0.cfg over the new player2.cfg.

NOTE: You will only have access to all cars and tracks when you have chosen the "pdm" player.

There are really several ways to go about saving and playing your previous saved games. You can decide which is the best.

This cheat essentially does the following:
Creates 3 files: player2.cfg (Config settings - Audio/Control/Video), player2.sav (Savegame - All cars and tracks playable), players.dir (Names of saved players and their corresponding filenames)
players.dir contains the names of all saved players and games - The one included in this archive ONLY contains the player2.* ("pdm").
By replacing your current players.dir with the new one, you are removing your old saved games from the listing.

Good luck and have fun! Don't forget to backup those files!
