1. Information about Turbo Ball

I do not accept any responsibility for any effects that this program
may have on you, your computer or anything else. You are using this
program on at YOUR OWN RISK.

Turbo Ball is a freeware game. So you can play it as long as you like
without any charge. You are also allowed to distribute it, if:
      1. Such distribution includes only the original archive supplied by
me. You may not alter, delete or add any files in the distribution
         archive.
      2. No money is charged from the person receiving the software, beyond
reasonable cost of packaging and other overhead.

Turbo Ball is programmed in DJGPP with Allegro game programming library.
So thanks to Dj. Delorie and to Shawn Hargreaves and other developers of
  Allegro.
Also thaks to J Lehto (Daedalon/The DooM Crew & Fourth Side, aka. J Lehto)
for good ideas and partisipating in beta-testing.

2. Installing

Unzip "tball*.zip" into some folder and run the "setup.exe". In setup
program choose suitable settings for soundcard and keyboard.

3. Playing

Run the "ball.exe" and play. If you want to read the starting texts
  run "ball pause".

  Keys during the game :

    Move bat up: key up
    Move bat down: key down
Fire/release the ball: Ctrl / Space / key left
Double speed for bat: Alt / Space / key left
    Save a screen shot: PrintScreen / F12
    Menu: Esc
    Pause: Pause
Emergancy exit: Ctrl+Alt+End (this works in the setup program too)

The screen shot will be saved in PCX format into file "scrshot.pcx".
The game is easy to play and understand, so just play to learn how
  to play. ;-)

4. Hardware requirements

Program requires at least 486DX + 4 MB memory + SVGA graphic card, but
it is recommended that you have a Pentium (or better) + 4 MB memory (or
more) + SVGA graphic card + Sound Blaster or compatible sound card. This
program does NOT work under Windows NT.

5. Modifying the game

You can easily modify the graphics (*.pcx), sounds (*.wav) and music
(music*.mid) with proper programs. The graphics must be in 640*480*256
format and sounds must be mono in 8 or 16 bits format. But remember not to
distribute the game after modifying it.
You can also add your own music to the game. Just copy your midi-files
to the same directory with the game, rename them to "music*.mid", where the
  * -character should be replaced with next available number.
If you want to clear the highscore table, just delete the "ball.hi" file.
A new empty highscore table will be created as soon as you run the game.
