To get these pick up a lightning gun and you'll get all of em
as well as the lightning gun. To select. Select the lightning
gun several times and you'll see the models changing. At the
moment, the only difference between the Lazer and Slazer
models is some blue stripes (slazer has em).

Slazer
Use it kill big blokes quickly or the the ammo usage is to great
to be worthwhile on smaller blokes. It always up 5 cells and will
use up the amount of health of the bloke it hits / 5 if it does
hit. There is always a 1/10 chance that it'll fail on you. Using
it on a bloke wivout enough ammo will cause the slazer to explode
and lose you all weapons except shotgun and axe and will knock you
down by 50 health. However, the shambler on full health requires
less than 100 cells. This is for killing blokes like shamblers
quickly and is also bloody good for dms. Don't waste it's ammo
on the first blokes on E1M1 as it'll use up ammo like anything. 
The first sexy new bit is the way you kill blokes. Try shooting
a bloke wiv this super lazer and watch him melt - this is the
only excuse for using it on the first level.
Next, there's the fact that if you lose the Super Lazer by 
overpowering it, the only way to get it back is to finish
the level or pick it up somewhere - IMPULSE 9 WONT work if the 
super lazers been blown to SHIT. 
I'm sure theres also a few more little bits that I've added
aswell as the new sound and models but I cant remember them now.

Lazer
This is just another one of those lazers for quake that you
can see any where, EXCEPT. It has a new model and sound and
when you fire it, it will probably remind you of the aliens
from Mars Attacks (The Film).

Unzip the mod in a subdir in your quake dir called LAZER
and then run quake with the command line
	QUAKE -GAME SLAZER	
NOTE: you can put the patch into any subdir and then run
quake with the command line:
	QUAKE -GAME <new dir>
