NB the value I have called 'Code' seems to be:

 h - semiauto slug thrower
 x - automatic slug thrower
 I - disposable rocket
 i - RAM grenade
   - laser
   - neural
   - energy weapon
  - melee

I haven't found any evidence of autofire capability being implemented. It
does not appear to affect the ROF of weapons when the player is directly
controlling the characters. It might affect the ROF when the PCs are
computer-controlled. Or it might affect hit probability, penetration or
something - but that would be silly because the ammo counts on all the
weapons are for single-shot, not bursts (they go down by 1 not by 10, and
they are not one-tenth of the figures given in paper Traveller).

Basically all weapons are effectively semi-automatic and seem to have
similar ROF. If there really is no advantage for automatic weapons in the
game, it might be an idea to increase the Law Level of the 'automatic'
weapons from 3 to 5 or 8. But on the other hand, why bother?

Note that I have decided off my own bat to: change the penetration of the 9mm
Submachinegun to 4 (vs. 3 in the manual, 5 in the database); change the
damage of the 9mm Rifle to 3, and the ammo to 20; change the Law Level of
the LAG to 4; change the Law Level of the Auto Shotgun to 3.

In all other cases I was correcting what appear to be errors or
inconsistencies. I have by no means corrected all differences between the
manual and the database, because in most cases those differences seem to be
intentional and advisable.

I am tempted to increase the Dmg of the ACR, Gauss Rifle and perhaps 9mm
Rifle to 4. Especially given the cost of Gauss Rifle ammo.
