4 What's new in version 1.2
----------------------------

*Added : DirectX support for color mode switching under Windows 95.
Does not work properly under Windows NT 4.0. Not supported under older versions of NT.
*Added : Ability to change the animation speed.
*Added : Ability to choose color palettes.
*Added : Full screen preview allowing to change options 'on the fly'.
*Fixed : Screen scan option of the McAffee anti-virus stops the screen saver.

5 What was new in version 1.1
---------------------------
* Added : configuration possibilities with a preview window,
so that you can see at once what the screens will look like
* Added : ability to ignore mouse movements
* Corrected bugs in 256 colors mode : 1) too fast animation when
the multimedia player is in the background ;
2) incorrect colors after the saver stops
* Improved : smoother color palette in 256 colors mode

6 Known bugs
------------
16 colors mode :
* The result is just TERRIBLE. If I were you, I'd just use another
resolution...

256 colors mode :
* I was told that this program exerts a strange fascination on CATS.
Well, since I've got none, I can only repeat what I heard. But if
your tom goes nuts, just don't tell me you haven't been warned...

65536 (and more) colors :
* The image is smooth, but it's not animated. Color cycling is a
hardware feature not supported in those modes.

With DirectX
*Using the DirectX option may cause a crash under Windows NT 4.0. So do not use it.
*The McAffee screen-scan option may cause the color mode to switch back to the default.
I have still to figure out how to fix this.

With Windows NT</h3>
*The 'ignore mouse moves' option does not work properly on NT 4.0.
*Configuration dialog box is slow under NT 3.51.
*Configuration dialog box does not work under Windows NT 3.1 - 3.5.

7 What's cooking for future releases...
---------------------------------------
*Some graphical effects that were kindly submitted by Harold McMahon.
*Cooler color palettes (lots of work to do!)
*Maybe sounds...
