You can set most of the functions from the Options Box in the Environment setup.
The figure below shows the Option dialog box.

Preview
You can set the color and the length of time the preview window appears when you place the pointer on an item in the program.
User Custom Colors
Use this to change the choices for the color the users can choose from.
Enable Auto Save
You can choose whether to use Auto Save or not by checking the box and the program will save the info every selected number of minutes.
Alarm Ring Time
Choose this function and select the amount of time the alarm will ring for. (if you do not choose this the alarm will just keep ringing)
Show Title When Minimized
Choose this and while the note is minimized the title bar will be shown beside the icon.
Show Logo At Start
When starting the program the program logo will appear if this box is checked.
Fix Title Bar Color
This will fix all the notes title bar color to the color you have chosen regardless of the background color.
Fix Icon Color
This will fix the color of the icon to the color you choose regardless of the color of the note.
Show Note Status Bar
With this every new note made will have a status bar at the bottom.
