 - This comes with the FULL source code listing. Feel free to use it :).
Please refer to the "EXAMPLE.ASM" program. If you use this code, a
very small mention of me and the tracker (nothing fancy) would be
 greatly appreciated.

 - and course, greetings go out to Snowman, DickyDick, 30SC/MiST &
the MiST crew, Tom Verbeure/Synergy, Adam Seychell, Tom Freebairn,

Future Improvements

1] MIDI keyboard support is a thing i've been working on for a while.

2] Make colour, keys all user definable (according to demand of course)

 3] make it OS/2 friendly.

 4] Full AWE32 support

5] If it gets popular and people start demanding it, i'll make
it multitrack. A realistic range would be from 4CHAN to 16CHAN.

6] Add 16 bit sample support to editor (ie 16 bit Funktracker modules)

7] If it gets popular then i'll convert the crustly text interface to
    a graphics/mouse driven interface.

8] an intergrating interface with Adam's new sampler (Sound Studio)
    that's on the drawing board.

If you have any suggestions, just say (and no nasty "kero and a match"
type suggestions either) :).

    Some of them have been:

      Support MOD, S3M

(hmmmm.....I used to hold the argument that- "I wouldn't have
made Funktracker in the first place if i could get decent
S3M&MOD code". But some of my friends reckon you can. So,
we'll see. I definately will be implementing a "loadon"
       converter for MOD & S3M).

      Polymorphic effect

(Yep. When MIDI keyboard is supported. you should be able to
      enter chords etc.).

      Add Amiga finetune

(Nupe. The format won't change now. Sorry. Besides. Finetune
is an amiga thing. However, I have added a 'Resampler'.).

see ya

WHATS NEW

1.06 hasn't been dragged through the full testing cycle like the other
versions. The new amendments have only been tested on my machine.

If there are any problems, then i'll just have to fix and release again :).
I'll working on MIDI keyboard support now.

MUSTDO:

 - Previously, the memory parameters were set at compile time.
Now you can configure these in the setup.
 - MIDI keyboard support (it's coming, it's coming)

DONE:

 1.06: (17th May 95)

 - DOS32 update. Now uses V3.01. ..the dosshell works.
 - A have now, once and for all made a 256 point, perfectly
linear GUS table that doesn't lagg. GUSTABLE.INC has been abolished.
 - added badly needed re-sampler. Now you can tune your WAV samples
   in perfectly :).
 - display directories are now sorted
 - Reintroduced full PAS16 support. PAS support currently uses
MVSOUND.SYS.the p-mode environment will from time to time be
a problem. (NB/ excessive sampling rates >22050 will sometimes
   cause clicking to occur)
 - SB16 support :)
 - oooppsss :).... RLO's (Reload Sample Attr's). 1.05 accidently
reloads a samples frequency into the channel. This is NOT in the
RLO defination. This means that Command C would instantly cut out
when using RLO's. <dumb> ..This is been fixed so it doesn't do
   it any more.

 1.05: (23rd April 95)

 - First public release (just wanted to release the thing)
 - The GUS volume table sucks
 - OS/2 Unfriendly
 - DosShell doesn't work very well (DOS 3.00 bug)

 1.00 - 1.04: (July 94 - March 95)

 - development, testing, and minor modifications
(used to have PAS support in these versions, but experenced
  major problems)
 - Big thankyou's go to Tom Verbeure/Synergy for improving my DAC
routines, and By Adam Seychell for being "on tap" when problems
cropped up regarding P-mode, and Dickydick, 30SC, Snowman,
Brandon Williamson, 30SC, Jase/Enigma and everybody else for
 beta testing.
